Family Portrait Donated to Event on behalf of Outreach 3 Way

On Tuesday night Steve Gubbins Studios donated another Family Portrait session and a Style and Makeover session to a charity event being held by Outreach 3 Way. Both prizes included a wall photograph that the winners would be able to keep after their session with Steve. This special event called their “Summer Soiree” was held at the luxurious Alexander House Hotel  and Spa was a new event for the charity.

Outreach 3 Way is a Sussex based charity that and supports and promotes opportunities people with learning disabilities and autism.  The charity carries out a number of functions, including residential care, access to community facilities, day centres and animation and photography projects (competition for the Studio!).  As well as this it tries to arrange autism friendly cinema screenings where the lights are left on the sound can be adjusted and it is accepted that the young people will be likely to wander about while the film is on.

Steve knows that the best help he can give to charity is to offer them prizes that they can raffle or auction that will be popular and sought after.  His Family Portrait sessions are award winning and are a unique prize to win.  The Style and Makeover sessions are also an amazing prize for a parent to be able to win for their teenage daughter (or son!) who would like to have that one special day getting a professional portrait made.

Horsham Artists Open Studios

We also just had the final weekend of Horsham Artist’s Open Studios and like the first, it was a busy time with visitors to the Studio to see our Abstract Photography and Ceramic Art on display.  We would like to offer our thanks to all those who came for an outing to see us at the Studio, we are now looking forward to next year!
