Steve Gubbins Studios Events

Horsham Artists Open Studios

Horsham Artists Open Studios is coming up fast!  The first opening weekend is the the 16/17th June and the brochure is now available in an online version and at outlets around town.  Make sure you collect or download a copy so that you can plan your day out.

Steve Gubbins Studios will be taking part by presenting Steve’s collection of Ceramic Art which is a recent addition to the studio, having started creating art-forms in this medium only a few years ago. The other work on display will be his work in Abstract Photography, another passion that Steve has always enjoyed as part of his photography business. His Abstract Photography takes on many different forms and it will be an added challenge for you to examine these and brave a guess as to what they are.  Steve will be available at all the dates to help you with any hard ones, but can also tell you about the process that he uses to create the abstracts and how he forms his inspiration.

Charity Event

Also on the horizon is quite a list of Charity Events that the Studio is supporting.  Tonight (23rd May) the Children’s Trust will be holding their Mad Hatter’s Show at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham.  This should be quite an event combining a spectacular Fashion Show with a champagne reception and cocktail supper. Steve Gubbins Studios will be donating two Wall Portraits, one of them from one of Steve’s Family Portrait sessions and the second will be a Makeover and Style Session.

Just to keep us busy, we have two more events coming up, the first is on 9th June at Bletchingly Golf Course that we are supporting where “Help for Hero’s” will be raising funds to help members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in service of their country.  The second event is on 25th June at Alexander House and is on behalf of “Outreach 3 Way” who are an organisation who help people with learning disabilities in West Sussex.

Steve is committed to continuing with his goal to raise funds for charity and never hesitates to donate valuable prizes to these worthwhile causes.
